Rami Rouini is a Tunisian software engineer and entrepreneur. He has worked full-time remote for a Japanese company since 2019 while running a portfolio of nine ventures — from a gym clothing brand and a car-parts marketplace to a digital agency, a game studio and a platform for digital nomads. He writes about building companies from anywhere at ramirouini.com.
Rami Rouini grew up in Tunis in a family that took commerce seriously and trained as a software engineer. He launched his first business — an auto-parts import operation — in 2013 while still studying, expanded it into a service workshop, and has since built a personal holding spanning gym clothing (Stronger Gym), an online car-parts marketplace (SOS Auto Parts), a marketplace for rare objects (Rare Souk), a digital agency and Unity game studio (Pipeline Studio), a platform for digital nomads (NomadOS), a community platform for local projects (BuildTogether), an online academy (Tunisia Money e-academy), market commentary, and house music as DJ Redspider. In 2019 he went full-time remote as a software engineer for a Japanese company, running the Tunisian ventures alongside it with a local team. He is now preparing the next chapter — a scouting trip to Asia, a Nissan Patrol Y60 rebuilt for the desert to photograph Tunisia city by city, and an off-road crossing south from Tunis into Africa — documented in a public journal and a monthly newsletter, Rami's Playbook.
